Women in Crisis

Freeda (Free from Domestic Abuse) is a new free and confidential outreach service available to women experiencing domestic abuse living in the county.

The trained and experienced support worker will meet you by appointment wherever it suits you. At the meeting you can talk about your situation, get emotional support, get information and discuss options. The support worker will always be focused on your safety and well being. If you are not sure what you want to do, the worker will not put pressure on you to make a decision.
The support worker will also do court accompaniment.

To avail of this specialised service please call 087 918 5842.

The service is by appointment only from Monday - Wednesday from 9.30am - 4.30pm

This service is funded through the Southside Partnership, supported by SAVE (Southside Addressing Violence Effectively) and women4women network dlr. It is complementing the countywide Women’s Programme. Women will also be supported by the outreach worker to access education, training and counselling or/and engage in social and cultural activities.
