DLR Alcohol and Drugs Task Force
The Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown Drug and Alcohol Task Force (DLR DATF) is a partnership of people from local statutory, voluntary and community service providers and elected local representatives. It is an important component of the Irish Government’s response to drug and alcohol use as outlined in Reducing Harm, Supporting Recovery.

Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Outreach Project (DROP)
DROP provides a holistic and progressive rehabilitation programme, supports the development of personal, educational and life skills, assist individuals who are caught up in the negative cycle of drug misuse to move away from their dependency on harmful substances.
They do this through the provision of the following Services, all of which are free of charge:
- The Rehabilitation Day Services
- The Cocaine/Polydrug Service
- Family Support Service
- Community Employment
- Drug Education Officer for the LDTF is housed in DROP
